If You Are Dually Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid...

YOU CANNOT BE CHARGED A COPAY!

·         The new Medicare Drug Program (APart D@) calls for copays for all prescription drugs. However, the State of Connecticut has said that it will cover the costs of any copay on your behalf.

·         If the pharmacist asks you for a copay, just tell him or her that, under the law, the pharmacist MUST give you the prescriptions and bill the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services for the copay.

GET THE PRESCRIPTIONS YOU NEED

·         If you are dually eligible, the Department of Social Services also will pay for your prescription drugs with no copay if they are not on your current Medicare Part D plan=s formulary.

If You Are on Medicare with ConnPace...
